The ÚZSVM list only covers land, and with a closed window for new cases at that. If you're looking more broadly — an apartment, a house, or you simply want to know whether probate proceedings are underway at all for a given name — the second important source is the justice ministry's electronic notice board.
infodeska.gov.cz is the electronic notice board of the justice sector — it publishes electronically the content that would otherwise only hang on the physical notice board of a courthouse. It covers the Ministry of Justice, the courts, and public prosecutor's offices; documents are available from 1 January 2009.
Unlike some other registers, you can't search directly by name across the whole country here. Basic search works by organization (a specific court), and within that court's board you can then search by agenda type, publication date, or case reference.
| ÚZSVM list | infoDeska | |
|---|---|---|
| Coverage | land only, deadline closed | any probate proceeding, ongoing |
| Search | by name | by court, agenda, date |
| Updates | last updated 2024 | ongoing |
You can also set up email alerts for new documents through the "Moje InfoDeska" section — useful if you know proceedings will likely happen, just not yet when.
On the main page, switch to the "Probate proceedings" tab — your name gets copied and the notice board opens for you.
